Butter + Cream Bakery:

We want a name that is more aligned to who we are. Aside from the frequent questions about dogs, we no longer function as a traditional Danish bakery. So starting next week, the bakeries will be moving forward as Butter+Cream (read Butter and Cream). Our bakeries try to provide a modern and innovative twist on classic cakes, cookies, and treats. Although we will continue to offer some traditional goods (don’t worry–bearclaws aren’t going anywhere!), we are thrilled to bring you many new, fun sweets.

Originally, Great Dane Baking Company opened its first store in Huntington Beach (now permanently closed) in 1996. The love for its baked goods spread throughout Orange County and Los Angeles, so in 2003, the second store opened in Los Alamitos. In 2018 we have expanded to Laguna Niguel under the name Donna Bs by Great Dane Baking Company.

Butter + Cream specializes in traditional Danish pastries, breakfast items, cookies, amazing specialty cakes and extraordinary wedding cakes.

Our Laugna Niguel location has been serving South Orange County the most scrumptious variety of homestyle cookies for the past 25 years. Now all locations are sharing their favorite flavors.

We pride ourselves on our delicious treats, innovative decorating and always having a touch of glitter on every product. We appreciate any and all feedback and are happy to continue to grow with the community.
